Destiny 2, how r we good guys
Other hints that we are actually arguably sorta the bad guys:
The Vex fear us terribly and want the Ghosts to free themselves and join their collective of free AI (is Osiris Ikora's Ghost? Is that a thing that can happen?)
The Fallen are enormously loyal to each other and none of them shot any other to escape imprisonment by the Vex. Their main concerns seem to be securing new places to live, finding resources and protecting their territories. (But where do Fallen really live? Like where are the kids?)
Yet they apparently hate or fear the Guardians so much (understandably? Considering I am an immortal god shooting my way through thousands of their friends and family?) they shoot me on sight despite me freeing and helping them this time.
Of course, the Vex, without empathy or directives to preserve organic life and happiness, put organics through really shitty experiments to test our abilities and motivations. But is that because they do not understand we have no backups? Or do they not care?
