betty
Jughead sat on the stairs outside of his trailer, head bent back, eyes looking up at the sky. He had Betty’s hand in his lap, holding it like she was going to float off to some strange never never land. Tonight had been a very long night but it had been successful, with Pop’s back open - all thanks to her and ferocity. Even though she would probably have to go back to the other side of the tracks soon (or Mama Cooper would come kill him), he appreciated the quiet moment together. Just them without the noise.
❛ Betty, I’ve been meaning to tell you about something. ❜
A long look at the sky later, he finally moved his head so he could look at her. A hand reached out to touch her jawline gently because he could, and it would still feel weird to be this way (even if he never said it out loud). From Wednesday Adams to Boyfriend of Betty, it was a strange transition from the shadows.
