Every Badnik is on high alert in Eggperial City! It's going to take some quick thinking from Sonic and crew to escape undetected. Meanwhile, Surge plots her comeback-she needs more power, and she needs it now.

So that new city-base thing that Eggman has built is called Eggperial City, and Sonic, Tails, Belle, and Kit are going to be trying to escape from it after whatever happens in Issue 50 and/or 51. Also, even though she wasn’t mentioned at all in the covers or solicit for Issue 51, Surge is apparently now doing her own thing at this point and is planning a comeback. A comeback from what I’m not sure, but we’ll be learning what happens with her and Kit in either Issue 50 or 51 that leads them both to doing what they’re doing.

Also, now that we’ve talked about Issue 52, it’s time to reveal the covers and solicit for this year’s annual, and... I’m not gonna lie, I think I may be more excited for this annual than I was with every other annual and one-off special leading up to this point for very obvious reasons.
