I don’t think I’ve ever done a proper post about this, but some of you may or may not know that since mid 2016, I’ve been writing the “Dancing Down Under” segment for @irishdancingmagazine which is based in the US with a an international readership. I still can’t believe I’m lucky enough to do be able to do this and it’s just as exciting for me as the day they asked me to write a wee little piece about all the Aussies that I danced alongside at Worlds in Glasgow 2016. I’m absolutely honoured to be continuing in 2018! This year I want to connect more with the Australian and New Zealand dancing community and, as a naturally very introverted person who isn’t normally one to put myself ~~out there (my mum says to this day that it’s a miracle I ever got up on stage at that first Feis), this is coming as a challenge. However, if I want to share your stories with the world, I need to connect with you, and I hope to do this better in 2018.
