Algebra making me want to throw a bitch fit, so I left my math class early. I am in college for gods sake. We should be learning things that are practical (aka have actual real life uses and applications) and things that will go towards our intended profession. Graphing knowledge would be useful, useless algebraic terms and not being able to use a calculator are not useful. They are fucking stupid. Instead of algebra, schools, not just colleges should offer Business math/Basic Accounting rather or instead of useless algebra. The number one clue that something needs to change is that when most people take math tests to determine education level, most people score below their level. Its because they test for algebra skills, which most of us have forgotten or its worded in weird ass ways. Teach us something useful, that applies towards the degree we are working towards, instead of extending our community two year time into six with useless math classes. (I am horrible at math, so in order to reach "their goal" for my level of math knowledge I have to take four algebra classes that take time away from things that actually matter.)
