That's an interesting concept anon.

First, they would both definitely be confused on how this happen. They will test their bodies afterwards and then both will be disgusted at first. Why did they swap bodies with each other. Their archenemy.

Shizuo would feel different, not that strong as before and smaller in size. He would continue to test his body and see how fast he is. While he is trying to cool himself by trying to smoke but not having any cigarette would make him uncontrollably reach for a sign only for him not to lift it up. He would be confused and tried again only to fail. That's when after so much time of feeling normal since he is not the monster he is, he would start to feel insecure. After all that's not him and so here is how he will start to search for Izaya. The stares that he will get would be different. They be all different. Sure, they will be unhappy, some would be scared and interested but more of them would be... detest. They don't like Izaya, don't want him. They are not scared of him but they want him gone, away. A different type of look that Shizuo can't handle, can't understand... did he also looked at Izaya that way?

Izaya, on the other hand, would be intrigued by how much strength he will have and try it. Seeing him lift so effortlessly, makes him feel differently. Stronger, independent, dangerous. But after he would test mire and more, he would feel something. That all of this is wrong! That's not how a person should behave! He is what he hates! A monster. He would feel insecure and while he would definitely try to sabotage Shizuo's life, he would be so disgusted with himself. He doesn't have control, can't stay focused and he would see the different looks he would get. How unwanted he is. Sure he still had that type of stares but thoses... different story. They would hurt him. His humans hate him... did he looked like yhat when he was looking at Shizuo?

Thus both even though intrigued and both wanted to test their new bodies, they would start to see the wrongness in all of this. After all, they hated each other for a reason. And sure they will start to have a different mindset on how each other's lives is but more importantly... would start to see something they didn't before. Something that would spark something.

Haha I wondered when you will ask about them!!! Gladly!

Conspire (Small, our city finds a way to make Shizaya happen, humor, good one)

Nocturnal (THIS ONE IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITES! It is after ketsu, Izaya comes back to Ikebukuro and we see what happens, it has angst in BUT the fluff on the end!!!! It made me so happy!)

Distance ( Another favourite, Izaya leaves Ikebukuro and we have Shizuo getting worried omg!!!)

What happened Izaya?! (It is has angst and fluff!!! It is emotional, it is amazing! No more go read it! Has art as well!)

Aletheia (Amnesiac!Shizuo, one of the ones i like very much! Izaya falls in love that foul!)

Into Your Heart (Izaya can’t talk, Shizuo is an ass!)

Love Bug (Izaya returns back and with the talk he has with Shinra he finally has some emotions towards Shizuo! Has violence.)

What Happens in Vegas  (A Silly one, small. Fake marriage? I really liked it!)

Falling (Izaya tries to fall off a roof, Shizuo does something!)

Insomnia (Amazing! Small, Shizuo believes he doesn’t deserve this! We see Shizuo’s side amazingly good! I love the last note the author put. It makes me cry!)

Any Other Name (Go read it! One of the best fics I have read, has some violence plus smut later on but...omg the story is good! The characterization is good! Plus there is a Shizuo pov on thoses events also, so two fics with different emotions!)

YES I heard that song... You unlocked a really forgotten memory i had wow! And yes tat song slaps! I always thought that one represented Izaya and Shizuo really much.

Especially when they say 'our friends' my mind immediately goes towards them. Our friends worry and want to help... yet they song says they don't care. Every one trying to talk to them and then at the end they don't listen, continuing the battle they had.

Every line has the word "hope' inside and yet the pure despair there is in the song shows the other side of them. They way they both hoped for something to help them (someone that understands them) and yet they sarcastically that hope gets shallowed. How it could have been and what happened at the end.

I also like that someone if I remember correctly had said that the song was about when you hate someone as much as yourself... Now doesn't that DESCRIBE their relationship! (I know it is about divorce but I have another perspective)

Of course I have! Many in fact! I have read so many fanfictions in this fandom...believe me! A lot!!!! But unfornately they are not many blind aus. So I put a list of the ones that are complete. So anyway I will try to put them into categories so anything that catches your eyes go read it!!!
