7: 54 p.m. Just six minutes before closing time. Literally, no one else was there. There were no cars in the parking lot. Lyon was tired. The day had been long. And, six minutes before closing time, some dweeb walks in, some strange goofy grin on his face as he loaded his frozen yogurt with almost every topping in the buffet. Lyon waited at the register, drumming his fingers impatiently on the desk.
