but really truly that's the reality. he didn't care enough to try. he knew what it would take and he decided it would be easier to stay the same than to treat me right and work for a future. he SAID he wanted to work on it he SAID he wanted to be better, but he didn't mean it. not really. not enough. if he did, he would have done it. his word didn't mean anything. i couldn't rely on him. i couldn't count on him. he wasn't where i was. and he couldn't understand that, either. i was ready for an adult relationship and he wasn't. i was ready to put someone else first in a way that really mattered and he wasn't. he wanted to have fun and sex and be silly and i wanted that too. but i also wanted to work through arguments and grow and build deep trust and work towards a future and that isn't always fun and easy. i think he loved the idea of all that, but when it came time to do it it just wasn't something he knew how to do or had modeled for him in his life. i can pathologize all i want but the bottom line is i asked for change and he couldn't provide it for more than 6 months before betraying my trust again. i see all of it for what it was it's just so hard to let go of the good times and the times when i did feel loved. it's so hard. i never realized. i thought i knew, but i didn't.
faiza talking about foreshadowing in he's coming to me. the bit in ep 2 when thun is talking to his girl-friend (i forget her name) on the phone and they're talking about who he's girlfriend is and gonna be and the camera's on thun's smiling face looking at met and then it pans to met. like catch that tea! i love this show.
hiiii anon!!! djdsidnsi yessss i noticed that bit too when thun is talking to plaifah!!! the way the camera pans over to met and then over at thun who's smiling at him??? and throughout the whole ep there were moments when met kept looking at thun, and thun caught on and he'd ask him "why are you looking at me like that?" before standing up and going like .......... 👀👀👀 they really are not subtle at all 👀👀👀.
also i found a video where singto actually, in legit words, confirms that hctm is a bl series so atleast we aren't gonna be baited or anything like that or have it be a "bromance" only type thing between met and thun. like there's gonna be feelings involved and there's gonna be angst and tears (the trailer showed bits of it all)! bc up until now i wasn't sure if it was gonna be one or not but singto's confirmed it. so!!!! i am HYPED!!!!!!!!
