I'm sick of this trope in art about "Transhumanism is evil, I'm going to cry because they gave me a super-powerful bionic body and I lost my humanity." You really wanted to die of cancer at 30, right?
This also includes any suffering about endless life, immortality, and all kinds of limitless possibilities. Many authors come to the conclusion that in such a situation a person will suffer from a long life or boredom or some other existential bullshit. It's such a primitive kitchen philosophy. Only a limited human mind can make such a cowardly conclusion, just in a timid attempt to go a little beyond the limitations inherent in human life, after which it's like, "Oh no, no, no, it's better to die."
