WIP of a tutorial I‘m doing which is provided by @icuong one of my favourite contemporary artists. He is a master in painting skintones, giving them a green foundation to really make them pop. Here I‘m already past the green stage, gradually building up the final skintone with shades of red, green and brown/ochre. Having a lot of fun with his tutorials. tried out icuong's technique of a green undertone for skin. I couldn't get it to work as well in coloured pencil as they do in pastel pencils, but I still like the result and I learned from it :) check them out on twitter, their drawings are awesome :o
