Baltimore Orioles (icterus galbula) and White Oak (quercus Alba) are the official bird and tree from the State of Maryland, in the USA. I had lots of fun painting them, and then started noticing all the birds flying around!!! Este Turpial de Baltimore lo pinté en 2014 para la serie Biodiversidad de Medellín de @parqueexplora y la Secretaría de Medio Ambiente. Es una especie migratoria que durante el invierno se asienta en América Central y al norte de Sudamérica. Durante su emigración se le puede ver en grandes bandadas.
