What's 1/27 exactly? Is it a short sequel for icos?
1/27 is an anthology that takes place one year after the events in book 4 (Fade). it tells us what the characters that survived are up to. and it is indeed a promise of a sequel (although that project is suspended for now, i believe)Ā
Heyy, i rly want to read in company of shadows but idk if its better to read the original version of the story thats complete or the new directors cut one (that i dont think its finished bc idk if they have edited the other books) help?

hi sorry to bother you but i was hoping you could tell me if ICoS is worth reading?
wellllll it all depends on what you like??? itās dystopia, elements of sci-fi, itās dark and terrible and disgusting sometimes. at the same time, it has a beautiful romace in its core, and honestly some of the greatest characters in literature. great character development arcs. the world building is breathtaking.Ā
i obviously think the suffering and dying and losing your soul was worth it. while some of it couldāve been avoided. itās definitely not perfect. iād say just give it a try and see if you like it :)Ā
my god, fade is INTENSE. there's so many things happening and i don't know if i trust any agency people other than maybe zach anymore and i switch between being so happy that sin is (kinda) okay and being scared of what's gonna happen and it's such a rollercoaster. also i'm like 60% in and i reached the point where i'm kinda dragging out finishing the book cause i don't want it to end??? and it's rare that i feel that way and it's so overwhelming and what am i gonna do with myself when it's over
I know i KNOW this book is likeā¦ā¦ too much. so much needs to happen and itās hUGE yet you still feel like thereās not enough pages and you donāt want to leave themā¦.. ā¦.. like life after icos is soā¦ā¦ how are you supposed to live your life after 4000 pages of this?? this world just sucks you in so completely and the characters become your friends and you know them and care about them and then suddenlyā¦. ā¦ā¦ā¦ well at least now there are people you can actually talk to about it :p

so i started reading fade while on the bus and lemme tell you, NOT A GOOD IDEA. like, i literally wanted to scream. and it's like the very beginning, this book does not fuck around does it. and so i slammed my kindle closed and decided to read it tonight in the comfort of my own home so i can cry freely. (and i don't for one second believe that he's really gone but man it still hurts so much, what with boyd's reaction and everything? fucking heartbreaking). PLS LEND ME YOUR STRENGTH I NEED IT
IāM GIVING YOU ALL MY STRENGTH ohhh my goddddd (like listen that one time i decided to calmly start rereading fade on my way to uni, i cried real tears in the middle of the bus, so i feel you) goodness i know, i know. that beginning is soā¦ā¦ soā¦ā¦ā¦ terrible, also because itās so well written (like, Boydās reaction, yes. jesus.) BE BRAVE. read when youāre safe and alone ahahaha and prepare for one hell of a ride ā¤ļø
