CALL TO ARTISTS! We are excited to invite you to submit your work for our May exhibit: Iconic Oahu - Buildings, Beaches, and Backroads, running May 5-29, 2022. Curated by MaryAnne Long, this exhibit will showcase iconic scenes and experiences on Oahu. We are soliciting ORIGINAL work for the main gallery: paintings, sculptures, photography, and any other creative medium that captures iconic scenes and cultural experiences representing life on the island of Oahu. There will also be a "pop-up" room for prints and other non-original pieces. While Oahu, "The Gathering Place," is the most commercially developed and populated Hawaiian island, with almost one million residents, our installation will complement an exhibit running simultaneously at the Downtown Arts Center, which will highlight the "Friendly Isle" of Molokai, with less than 1% of the population of Oahu.
