          he still couldn’t believe it himself , elijah getting someone pregnant ?  honestly , something unheard of deep within his own mind. frankly , kids in general was something elijah honestly , decided he didn’t want. not that he didn’t love kids , he adored his niece. it was the fear he’d turn out like his own father that lingered in his head , that he’d turn out like him. but still , if it actually was too happen  ( and had ) he swore to himself , to support & be there. even if it mean threats of being killed and the occasional object thrown at his head.

           one thing he didn’t think about was : skye’s parents. telling them , they certianly  weren’t going to like him , not that he’d blame them.  ‘  what ? am i supposed to say; hi i’m elijah & i’m sorry about getting your daughter pregnant. that sounds like a great intro , surly they’re going to kill me , since you haven’t yet.  ’   for once in his life , he didn’t want to die either.  ‘  maybe i should buy them a present ? so they don’t kill me ? or maybe .. call them , tell them over the phone , so i have time to hide before i die.  ’

                    it would’ve probably been easier to remain calm had the injury happened to any other part of his body but having a gash on one of his legs was definitely something he was happy about. after all, miles relied on his legs the most. his team did, too.

                    his eyes slowly move from looking at his ripped sleeve, blood seeping into the cloth, to staring at her, face unreadable in the moment. he blinks once, twice. “thanks for pointing out the obvious.” maybe he’s just more pissed because that was one of his favorite shirts or maybe it’s because he can’t just turn back time to him not being cut or to at least stop it from happening. stupid laws of time.
