RIP Okjökull Glacier. Iceland had a memorial for the vanished glacier, which was the country’s first glacial casualty and a warning of the effects of climate change. The United Nations calls on planets to dramatically curb greenhouse gas emissions to save the world’s glaciers and ice sheets.⁠
