It disappoints me how big of a thing this has gotten to be because I recall it being just a few bad apples years ago, and it was really looked down upon. Now people seem apathetic. :<

definitely, you almost never hear of recasts a few years back and now when i google for bjd, i always see recast sites/recast dolls for sale :< which is really bad for the hobby as newbies may not know what is a recast is and accidentally purchase one. and now i have to be super wary when i buy dolls secondhand as many people on DOA now own recast dolls on the side. you just can't trust anyone nowadays /sighs/

Wanted to send you a thanks for your suggestion on the dragons from Cuarto. We did open a dispute, got a picture and tracking almost immediately, they arrived to my friend's house this morning. I'm not the most thrilled at having to do that to get her attention, but it worked! I'm very relieved at the moment.

Like I said, communication with her is really a pain... but at least everything went right in the end :) Now make pictures of them :3

lol I can see how that would be confusing. Ships = pairings, couples. Now I can't unsee it. "Ship wars" = two space ships going pew pew at one another. XD
