you know what? Chip hit the Blizzard out of Hail. i count that as a win.
bit of better ordering, Peppermint's the best answer to Escavalier in the end either way. after that, it's almost 1 for 1 against Rose, even if his Klinklang should have outright advantage to Blue Moon thanks to Wild Charge.
i clipped it a bit early, but this feels like a weird interaction. that Koffing had Neutralizing Gas for the ability, but when it used Self Destruct, it fainted before doing damage, removing the effects of its' ability and allowing Snover to set that hail.

here's photos of the team! i think they did pretty well. fun problem solving with Leon in the end there too. also, i just realized i can add a video under this one, new layout lets you get some fun configurations going.
last attempt was attempt 5: the winning one! as much as i want it to be things just working out as planned, it was just the sort of luck you'd see in a Blue Moon. seriously, powering through paralysis as much as they did, taking out Cinderace, Dragapult, and Seismitoad? then they fell to Haxorus' Outrage, which means Strawberry had a free turn to wreck house, and i'm looking at having her, Chip, Spearmint, and Vanilla all for Charizard in Hail. i'm torn between disappointed the plan didn't come out, and glad that this avenue opened up.
attempt number 3 at level 61. i realized i could just Stealth Rock turn 1, and Aegislash always attacked the same turn, and Peppermint outspeeds it for an easy turn 2 KO.
after this, level 61 makes it so i can get into a route where i manage to shift Strawberry out for Blue Moon without getting her KOed, and then BM and Strawberry can really set the field for Spearmint against the Dragapult. that sent out Seismitoad and i got to a point where i could use Quiver Dance on Chip, who could Bug Buzz Seismitoad out... and then i gambled on another Blizzard and lost after Vanilla's fighting breaths. at least i saw Leon's Charizard for the first time in this fight!
