Being admitted to Llandough at least overnight. I’m severely tachycardic and have a temperature, which previously has been a sign of septic shock. Dr and me talked through every option, but he said the only safe one is admission. He even tried ringing around several pharmacies for a certain antibiotic, but couldn’t get it. My urine sample shows I’ve got infection, but it’s a mixed result, meaning they can’t see exactly what infection it is, or what antibiotics will treat it. I need blood tests ASAP. Also said I’d probably have some IV antibiotics/fluids/anti sickness/pain relief. The hope is they’ll treat me overnight and release me in the morning on whatever oral antibiotics I show as responsive to. Pissed off and upset, but trying to stay as positive as possible; negatively doesn’t help me in the situation! My hope is I’ll be discharged tomorrow morning so I can continue my fun filled plans on Thursday and Friday. Please send puppy pictures.
