Is Shades over there also one of those weirdos looking for the 'conceal-a-murder' starter kits? Jerry doesn't know. He doesn't really care.

"But, we still have shovels in stock. Also, Garden Gnomes are 70% off tonight."

🥤 "People act like trust is this all-or-nothing thing. I don't buy that. I trust Jack to somehow survive things that should've killed him six Tuesdays ago. Doesn't mean I'd hand him my wallet to get nail polish for Rosa's birthday or something the like."

Jerry shrugs and pulls out a couple of chips from the offered bag. He munches on them while he continues.

🥤— The light overhead inside the Gas Station flickers, but otherwise it seems to hold up just fine in this stormy night. When two strangers enter, Jerry waves at them from behind the counter with the misplaced enthusiasm of a Golden Retriever.

"Woah there, you two look even worse than our local Raccoon Mutants. And one of those guys ate insulation foam last week."

🥤— Jerry perks up when someone enters the desolate gas station, a lit cigarette poking out from the corner of his mouth. "Yo! If you're looking for Jack too, you missed him by an hour. Maybe two hours, haven't really paid attention. Oh and, we're also out of Hot Dogs..."
