These nails are currently in nail rehab! Esme booked in yesterday via @treatwell_uk for an IBX Repair & Strengthen Manicure. Her nails had been overfiled at a couple of NSS salons to the point that they were becoming sensative / red and splitting in several areas. She had been told by the previous salon “It’s fine we can put gel colour over the top” 😑and she said she knew then that something was off. Guys your nail tech shouldn’t make your nails hurt okay - this kind of rough treatment of your nails is not okay 🙅🏼♀️ Our job is to look after the health of the nail as well as adding pretty colours and designs. If you’re going away from your manicure with bleeding skin or your nails start to split and crack / look damaged - find someone who wants to take better care of them for you ❤️ I applied the first of several rounds of IBX Treatment to give back her nails some strength and protection and then added a heavy dose of @famous_names Dadi Oil. She’ll back back to see me in a week or so after keeping an eye on the split areas (keeping clean to avoid any possible infections where the nail has been split and damaged).
