A Christmas choir was organized for the class of IB1 so that we could sing Christmas carols at a renowned hotel in order to spread Christmas cheer to guests and other individuals. Initially, I was supposed to participate in this caroling event and I was very excited about it; however, I ended up leaving the choir. After a few rehearsals I lost a little bit of interest in the choir since the songs voted for by the IB1 students did not really fit the range of voices and give off a very cheerful, lively vibe. For the time I spent rehearsing with the carolers, the experience was very fun and amusing and allowed me to learn new Christmas carols, and I did also regret leaving the choir since on the day of, the carols sounded amazing and everyone was so excited about getting ready and having their loved ones around them while caroling.
