Today we have a varied choice of educational boards like CBSE, ICSE, and IB. But how would you know which one will be the best for the growth of your child? All of these boards contribute to your child’s development in different ways. And as a parent, we go to great lengths to provide the …
December C
December as we all know it’s the time when Christmas is the main topic and if not Christmas, then at least Christmas holidays that all students are waiting for. Our school decided to organize Christmas Song singing competition on the last day of school this year. My class at first got the best song to sing together and no one really knew it, so our decision was to change it for „Do they know it’s Christmas time” by Band AID from 1984. To be honest I didn’t know this song as well but after listening to it for a few times I thought it might be a really good choice. As a class we made the decision to choose few „solo singers” and the whole class would sing just the ending part that way it is easier to learn it for them. Peter asked me to sing as one of the solo singers, at first, I wanted to say no because singing in public makes me really nervous but because I knew would have my friends with me on stage it might not be that bad I thought. So the decision was made.Â
I enjoyed the rehearsals very much, it made me realize how much I’ve missed singing and how much I loved it in the past. Three days before the competition I got a sore throat which made singing a bit harder but I think together we managed to complete the performance quite well.
Furthermore, the Christmas time forced me to remind myself few of the carols and other theme songs, because my family expects me to perform some during one of our Christmas meetings. I have to admit that they are not my favorite ones but at least I love music and playing the piano so I simply get the pleasure of being able to practice.
My IOC is tomorrow
Wish me luck y’all.

Math class: where lines and simple shapes are the most confusing thing ever
So I have to read East of Eden by John Steinbeck for a summer project for my IB English class next year, (for those of you who do not know what IB is, IB stands for International Baccalaureate and is basically advanced classes, it is really just the highest form of education one can get from high school.)  and I've figured out that to actually make it through the book, I am going to read each chapter two to three times, once to my brother so he goes to sleep, once to myself and possibly once more on youtube. In this way, not only will I have the entire book memorize, I will enlighten many others on the fact that IB is horrendous and I shall also succeed in ridding the world of my brother for eight to twelve hours. I will also finish the book with the end result of being able to answer all the questions on it and get an A in class. I find that this is a great plan, and will lead to my success as a Junior.
