Every year, big attraction companies get together to show people their most innovative products on the show floor at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. These competitors create technology and attractions at the IAPPA Expo. IAPPA stands for the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions. There are TONS of vendors to go to and look at, with a variety ranging from VR (Virtual Reality) to amusement park attractions like roller coaster companies and portable rides that are rideable.
You can’t ride roller coasters at IAPPA, because there’s not enough room, since it is a convention to showcase the creative innovation from the minds of successful theme and amusement park industries that are displayed on the show floor. Inside, it would take the entire day to attempt to see everything, because there are a lot of roller coaster models, entertainment that you can try out, and mind-blowing experiences that fit within the theme of entertainment.
Even though the majority of the convention is all on the inside, there are some things to see outside, such as bounce houses, and certain carnival games that you can play, all having equipped technology that has not been used before. There are even companies that agree to buy a certain experience to be used in their business. It’s not just a place to try out new things, but it’s also a way to give more successful businesses more money to benefit themselves.
