I've been battling the flu for almost two weeks now and I couldn't be more grateful for this job I have. If I'd been working for someone else, I would have had to take at least 7 of the past 11 days off work, I would have had to deal with using up all my paid sick leave and not getting a full paycheck, not to mention letting down my employers and clients for most of two weeks. #becauseoflularoe I've barely missed a day of work because I can work from home, including from my couch!
