iamforest’s Your Lights (live)

The work of Luke Hartle has inspired me a lot over the past few years that he has been making music, I am insanely thrilled to view his progress in his full length LP. Please support and spread his work so that others may be inspired as I was.

I've often heard the argument that electronic-based music is soulless and the result of technology instead of art. I've also often argued against that notion. There are a multitude of acts that have proved otherwise over the last few decades. A new generation of electronica has taken elements of synthpop, ambient, and indie to create lush, emotional, gorgeous audio landscapes. The one-man project, iamforest does just this by building on a bedroom/laptop electronic base and adding haunting layers of melody and emotive vocals.
