Granted even if he was a reserve chaser now instead of front line, it didnât mean that he didnât still atleast like to participate. Granted his heart wasnât in it as much as it had been before his parentâs untimely deaths. He guessed it had put some sort of perspective in it life, though heâd beg for normalcy, simplicity and grieved for his parents back. Heâd been robbed of his childhood the moment they had died. Even if he still enjoyed the sport, it never felt the same after that. Besides, even if they had both been muggles, they had always gotten a kick out of knowing that he was on the Raven Claw quidditch team. The Raven Claw Chaser, they had spoken with such pride. Even if they couldnât fully understand, they were so happy. And look where it had gotten them. But without anyone left to make proud, there wasnât the same hunger he had for it. Sure he still enjoyed it; he wouldnât be reserve now if he didnât. But he fired the quiet boy had held had dimmed, anyone could see that.Â
Heâd been sitting up on the stands like he did often just reading. Though more often he ended up watching other houseâs practice quidditch. Some of them had definitely stepped up their game this year that much was undeniable. Besides, he was a Ravenclaw. How was he meant to watch without analyzing positions and movements? Heâd mentioned off handed that he was going to practice after class and with Iain volunteering to join him he didnât doubt it would be fun. âYeâre late.â The raven haired boy spoke, as he caught sight of his friend. âWhatâs yeâs excuse this time? Potions or were ye distracted chattinâ to a bonnie wee lass?â @iainwocdâ
