Made an OkC account tonight for shits and giggles because Winter Break. Iain and I are an 85% match, so I guess that's something.

Going to Lake Wauburg today with Iain and a bunch of other friends. Everyone in my apartment convinced me to wear an old blue and white star bikini I have, and if I make it through the entire day without flashing my tits to everyone it'll really be a great day for America.
Some thoughts

simply because I love them. 3) It's been nice, but also a bit boring to spend my evenings at home once I get done with class and work. It's great when I watch a movie with my roommates or otherwise have plans, but without that I just sit in my room being generally unproductive. 4) I should be spending that time reading source material for my thesis or doing GRE prep.
5) I seriously hope my stuff goes through with financial aid. I know I shouldn't expect to hear back yet (it's only been three business days), but every day that goes by I panic just a little more.

I have never cried after being harassed while out for a walk until this evening. Some guy started trying to talk to me as I walked past him at the bus stop outside of my development. I ignored him as I normally would, but he started shouting after me and following me about ten feet behind, shouting the entire time. I called Iain and asked him to stay on the line with me until I made it to my door, but he rushed outside and walked with me the rest of the way home. I have never felt so relieved, and I am angry that I feel that way.
So my brother just finished Series One of Doctor Who
I got to watch the final scenes (Rose Tyler as Bad Wolf and Christopher Eccleston regenerating into David Tennant).
Now I am too filled with feelings to be any good for the rest of the evening.
