          marley had a decent night out down to a science by now. she knew the best spots with the best djs and the easiest bouncers to flirt with like the back of her own hand. that being said, any night spent alongside the brunette was surely one you’d never forget. but tonight, considering her company is in great contrast to who she’s usually seen with, she chose to head out to a quaint little bar that holds indie rock nights. she felt the vibe was a lot calmer than the packed wall-to-wall clubs she’s used to, and that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. nights like that were perfect for when she and her girlfriends were looking for some middle aged men to buy them a around of shots, but she didn’t want to throw cash into that world. it was almost like the male was too good for the things that went down on a typical marley valentine chaperoned night. plus, the lax setting made it easier for the two to just talk, something marley could do for hours with the other. she’s sat atop the barstool (that was admittedly pretty rough to get onto in the first place) as earthen hues skim the small beer menu that was in a display before her. “i heard the bands performing tonight are supposed to be sick. haven’t heard of them but maybe i’ll have a new favorite song after this.” she offers a charming smile before ordering a water with lemon from the barkeep. “i can’t tell if that’s a good thing or not, because you and i both know i’ll be begging you to learn it so you can play it for me.” / @spillseas
