I am currently a strobist, as most of my work is weddings and location work, so I find speedlites are adequate, but I think the time has come to invest in some studio lights.

I just can't decide what to go for, I don't want some unbranded e-bay units, but don't want to spend a fortune either. I've been looking at Bowens, Lencarta and just found I-Lux, now I'm confused!!

I've used Elinchrom's before and love them, but i can't justify that kind of expense as I'm not sure how much I will use them, and the accessories are more expensive than the s-fit of the others.
