Yeah I know what you mean, I'm saddened even hearing about the possibility of it! There's every chance it could be renewed, but obviously there is an issue with ratings this season - we just need to keep the ratings up, keep 'em climbing! :)
Yeah, I just struggle so much with that, because as far as ratings go there isn't much I can do. I have cable, but only on 1 t.v. in the house, and it's shared by multiple people and is almost impossible to watch on. So I always watch it on Hulu the next day, but I really don't know how much that helps.

Not true at all about the CW going into S2 knowing it would be it's last season.
I know that there is no way of knowing for sure if that's what the network was thinking. Obviously it's not confirmed. But there is a certain amount you can read from how they've been handling and promoting the show.
And while the network may not want the show to be cancelled, it has been the least promoted show on the CW network. I think they started this fall season with The 100 being the weak link on their line up. That's the only logical reason I could think of why they aren't spending money to promote the show.
