A tired Alwyne after a very good group training session! - sit/stay with focus and for extended duration -she was fantastic at this, held her stay and focus for a good length of time without breaking. - break - a new command to say 'sessions over you can go'. Going to work on it at home, but she was definitely starting to get it. - cone slalom - she was off-lead, kept total focus on me and my signals. She got this in absolutely no time at all. - paw awareness - basically, just a small exercise of understanding where she's putting her feet. It was quite simple; a ladder on the floor. She stumbled a bit on the rungs, but she is very gangly. Her last attempt was almost perfect. - Staying relaxed with distractions - a simple one, Alwyne is really good at relaxing when we're stood waiting, talking, etc. This was made a little more difficult with the trainers running past, or shaking my hand, etc, but Alwyne remained still the entire time!!!! She got lots of magical treats from the sky! Overall, I am overwhelmed by Alwyne's attentiveness, willingness to learn and the speed in which she picks up new commands/tasks. She takes everything in her stride with confidence, always looking to me for guidance. She did A+ today!
