Salt Memeā THOUGHTS ON THE FANDOM YOUāRE CURRENTLY RPING IN?
Itās alright, I guess? My tumblr rp life hasnāt exactly been spent in tons of fandoms, so I donāt have much to compare it to. In any group as big as this the m c u / comics youāll get the occasional pompous people and constant battling of aesthetics, which all sucks, but Iām not sure if itād be fair of me to fault the fandom.Ā
I will say thereās a lot more ignoring/dismissing/etc of lady characters, despite all the talk to the contrary, and a lot ofĀ āX is good and Y is shitā in regards to characters/groups/pieces of applicable media, which can come across as pretty cliquey although I havenāt had much personal trouble with it. Taking personal feelings about the actor and projecting them onto the character seems to happen a lot. I dunno, itās hard to judge a fandom as BIG as the Marvel one has gotten. In my experience, a 7 or 8 out of 10.
