Following Sunny Afternoon, this was the wistful last tune on Face to Face. The third Kinks LP I ever bought was a strange budget collection called Lola, Percy & The Apemen Come Face To Face With The Village Green Preservation Society... Something Else.  Yeah, it had lots of songs from those albums though not in any particular order.  I made note of which songs came from which LP, and later bought all of those essential albums (except Percy)  Imagine my surprise when I finally got my hands on Face to Face and heard this song, the one tune left off the collection. In many ways it’s a tune alone as well, as it was recorded in 1965 for The Kink Kontroversy. It’s not the greatest Kinks song ever but even now it sounds more like a lost tune (to me)
