Aight so, the friend zone never has and never will exist, majority of the people who claim it does either feel entitled to other people or don't value the other person as a friend, which:
1. Is crappy and 2. If you don't value the person as a friend, how are they going to get the respect they deserve in general, let alone in a romantic relationship.
At any given point, there is a really fine line between friends/best friends and lovers. You already know the both of you get along, just don't make it the other persons problem if they don't requite your feelings.
By don't make it their problem, I mean don't tear them a new one and expect that they owe you something. They don't.
And if you do, then they owe it to themselves to leave you the fuck behind.

@mackbookbro so my post was really not about his True Alpha status. I could give a shit about that. It was more of a realistic development? I sure as shit do not believe a just graduated senior would be volunteering at their high school over the summer between college for free.
