Can we have a short overview of the synopsis and the cast of the upcoming Pheasantstar?
Listen.. . . The thing is..... .
Ok so for those who don't know what Pheasantstar is; I was planning to make another webcomic after Tigers, and the working title was Pheasantstar- I have then switched the title into ALL KNIGHTS DIE FOR GLORY.
And, well, then I got an agent (the extremely talented Jane Chun!!!) and I wrote her multiple story ideas for the possible next comic I was gonna make. The knight comic I planned is HUGE. It has it's own goddamn wikipedia page I'm writing all the lore into and all hahah.. (don't ask for the url, it's spoiler town!)
So we decided it would be the best if I did a shorter project after Tigers, and not another 800+ page comic!
I'm now working on a pitch for a comic, which working title is Thief's story. It's actually about two characters that I cut out of the Knight story, because they grew on me a bit too much and I wanted them to have their own thing...
All of this is heavily WIP at the moment, and I need to smash my new blorbos a bit more againts eachother from the Thief story, before the core of it forms properly in my head. (I thought I had reached my maximum level of Drama with Tigers by writing the whole "brother gets the love of his life married to his sister" shit, but I feel like I'm only realizing now that actually, we can write even wilder situations...
I can't spoil too much but I'm losing my marbles when I think about the characters of this story because IT'S JUST... THE ENERGY... I LOVE THESE IDIOTS SO MUCH ALREADY I'm biting my teeth so hard they explode into dust in my mouth I want you all to meet them soon...
BUT! There's no quarantee that someone would pick the pitch! So if I get stuck in a limbo of waiting, I'll begin another webcomic in the meantime! And that will most likely be the Knight story!
My main focus right now is to finish Tigers, and finish the pitch for Tigers (still working on getting the rest of the volumes published, hopefully!) and the Thief's story pitch, and after I have all of that done, I'll return working on the Knight thing. If everything goes well, I'll begin the Knight webcomic, and if Thief story is picked up, Knights will go into hiatus while I work on the Thief story. And that's only one volume (maybe two....... maybe more if people like it.......... but essentially I try to make a tight story without too many branches, like Tigers have lmfao).
Summa summarum, I can't give you a summary of the Knight story yet, since it's on a backburner and I still need to figure out some things, especially since I practically cut two characters out of it and all HAHAH!
