Action takes place in Stormveil Castle, so it's no-brainer, lol. Also, it made me like Stormveil's theme a bit more, since I usually don't really notice in-game music when playing.

Calm before the storm, I used this when editing most of the chapter and changing stuff around. I have like 600 hours in Nightreign and somehow my mind barely registers ost if it's not boss soundtrack (I have problems like that with every single game).

And the last one, the boss theme of the day!

Vordt, dear old Vordt! My friend almost thought I put Paarl in the chapter but no, the beast that showed up in the end was Vordt! I was thinking about low to mid level boss from either Bloodborne or Dark Souls 3 to put in there, just to fuck with Marika and her soldiers. Also, low level boss to make everyone go: "Wait, THAT WAS THE EASY ONE??"

Funnily enough, originally Darkbeast Paarl was the one invading the castle! He was written there to show more Bloodborne vibes but after re-reading the chapter, I decided to put Vordt instead because it would tie better next chapters together and undead beast using lightning probably would be less weird for Marika than some giant knight with fuck-off hammer using unknown frost magic.

After all, death magic and re-animation existed before Godwyn and I even started writing in the next chapter how beast using lightning was something from Farum Azula. So, Vordt it was then! If Dancer got her cameo in Nightreign, he can get one in fanfiction.
