Day nine:Murder.

Reg sat on the owlery floor and looked up at the birds that sat quietly on posts in the tallest spiral, their beady eyes boring down on him in annoyance. According to his timetable Regulus had Herbology now, his first lesson of the day. However after breakfast in the great hall he had found himself desperate to be anywhere else but there with the rest of his classmates and had finally decided to settle in the owlery for the morning. Besides this way any letters he recieved from his parents could be opened in private where he could have time to deal with them and it was quiet apart from the occasional hoots of arriving owl. All the other students where in their lessons he supposed, but he was still sure to listen out for the sound of approaching footsteps on the stone steps outside.
