okay, but playing sage has me thinking about Glitch trying to find a way that she can manipulate aether. Maybe not entirely akin to a fully man-made echo like the resonant, but something else — some kind of technology that allows her to focus her existing aether and use magicks through that said foci? Especially since, once upon a time, her people could manipulate aether, they just lost the ability over time due to the rapid advancement of technology.
