Krieg had been ambushed by some CoV and was now going over them for loot. It was something he had gotten use to. Psycho Krieg would tear through anyone who tried to kill them, and then Sane Krieg would loot them. And this time it was twenty of them. Defiantly something he would have liked help with, but they were dead and he was still breathing. That's all that mattered. But he had to patch himself up a bit.

Zer0 was taking the opportunity to relax a little and scroll through notifications they hadn't been able to keep up with during the hectic week before Mercenary Day. They were planning on taking the evening to celebrate with Angel so they didn't expect her to come over with a present for them. Zer0 sits up with a :) and stands to pull her into a hug.

“Well...” Rhys kicked away from his desk and caused the chair to swivel. He put his hands behind his head as he looked at the AI, an easy smile on his lips.

It seems like recently Cass was lagging behind a bit in the sleep department, with her current work schedule keeping her up at all hours of the night, was it really any surprise that she fell asleep during a boring ass meeting with the rest of the medical staff? No more of a surprise that the rest of the staff cold-heartedly left her to her fate at the end of the meeting, head resting on her crossed arms at the table, muttering something in her sleep.

Rias didn’t know much about what Angel was going through, but she did know a little bit about what she had, Jack hadn’t been as great at hiding data as he had thought and if anything she could piece it together from the files on Lilith and what he did to her in opening the vault, but even then it was no compare to what Angel had to go through, something that the CEO was not going to push her about either, if she wanted to speak then she would let the other do so. 

Of course the CEO had realised the little device they had managed to put together with the ECHOlog and the cybernetic eye of hers to get it on a closed circuit so that she could try and communicate with Jack, but he had not spoken until Angel arrived, seeing to only want to talk to her, but she could get it was difficult for the girl. 

Rias actually had something from Pandora for the girl too, which was wrapped in a cloth, even then it didn’t hide the glow coming from it. It wasn’t much but she hoped it could help and Rias was going to stay there and make sure Angel was okay, even if she was up all night, which to be fair Rias was going to be tinkering away on a thing and she honestly wouldn’t mind the company. 

“I’m probably going to be up most of tonight I can feel it to be a restless one, if you don’t mind the company, I’d like to stay and make sure you are alright, plus this is for you and I want to make sure you are okay, you’ve been a great help and a friend, it would be cruel of me to leave if you are in need of someone to listen or talk to?” 

“I wouldn’t know cause I’ve never dated to begin with…”

Amara was contacted by a mysterious client for a task she had. The client itself only referred to herself as Angel. Amara had no clue who this woman was but by how people reacted around Sanctuary she knew she had to be careful around the woman since she was the daughter of the infamous Handsome Jack Amara heard so much about back in Partali.

Reaching the destination this ‘Angel’ person gave her, Amara was weary and careful to her surroundings. She learned that anything can happen in this galaxy and she had to be prepared for it.

“DON’T TELL ME HOW TO DIE! I’LL SWAT THE BULLETS OUTTA THE SKY WITH MY FACE!”

It was downright terrifying how such a freak of nature could exist. Soaking up bullets left and right as though it were as vital as breathing. It had been a while since Angel had been freed and roaming with the Vault Hunters, but even so it still seemed she preferred being a guide to them. Krieg wasn’t going to complain, of course.

The bullets, the blood, the bandits... none of it would have been the same without Angel’s voice in his head.
