i totally am still into beyburst ^_^ i actually just dont use that account anymore LOL its up as an archive since i wanted a fresh start to my account. you actually asked this at a perfect time since my beyburst hyperfixation just came back

this hyperfix is actually still going strong so expect to see more beyburst from me hehe ^_^

i never really had the clearest vison for how yu would dress; i always thought of him dressing kinda scene (or at the very least some sort of alt) but every time i drew him he'd just come out. kinda normal LOL like i'd just put him in like a jacket or a button up or a silly t-shirt. so upon redesigning him i was like. ok. i need a clear vision for this. i liked the idea of gyaruo so i kinda started there, and in general his entire design is mainly inspired by different kinds of j-fashion. but i don't think yu would do so much as constrict himself to any single style or place his aesthetic under any title; so while he obviously has his inspirations he kinda just goes with the flow and puts on whatever he thinks looks good! for me i just think he'd have a good mix of vibrant pieces to layer with more subtle pieces to create nice and balanced fits. in the past i also used to give him raccoon stripes which usually got misconstrued for hair clips, but i liked both ideas so i just gave him both hehe. overall i wanted to give him the vibe of the kind of person you'd HATE to see at the thrift--if you see him there, it means all the good clothes are gone.

and then there's kenta. oh kenta kenta kenta the most normally dressed guy on earth. he wears t-shirts when it's hot. he puts a jacket on when there's a light breeze. he wears hoodies when it's cold. it's not that he really has no care when it comes to the clothes he wears, it's just that he really has no fashion sense so he always just plays it safe. his wardrobe is just full of basics--i find kenta to be the kind of guy who'd wear stuff from elementary school if he still fit into it. yu slowly reworks his wardrobe once they become friends, but it's a long and arduous journey: he just got kenta to start wearing baggy jeans instead of straight leg. i gave him a little beauty mark under his eye because there was a little mark on my monitor while i was drawing that made it look like he had one and i liked it so much i just added it hehe

the funny part is that it was harder making a vision board for him as opposed to yu since kenta's wardrobe is a type of Normal that pinterest simply cannot replicate LOLOLL

anyways this was fun to make! i wanna style other characters, i might do some members of gangan galaxy next, who knows ^^

not to get too yappy on the first post of the new acc but mfb college au is very nostalgic to me since its something that i made when i was a highschool freshman and now im like halfway through my first year of college ! its just a little surreal to me, and its cool seeing how my art and i have changed over the years
