not joking BTW they're fully separate people. one is a doctor turned lawyer turned commune leader who is a poet at heart who was assassinated february 13th and came back but he's going down again soon. the other is just a guy that stumbled into the aftermath. they were both shaped by their upbringings in a commune except hydes was actually a church cult kind of thing that threw him out when he was 11 and james is 40 but he looks and acts younger and has no memories before february 13th so the commune he stumbled into basically raised him. both terribly disordered and trying to replace the other. I could say so much about them
