I don’t, however, know if there is enough data to determine if he likes you back. It’s possible he’s just a friendly guy. I would just continue getting to know him and try to befriend him. Who knows? Something could blossom from there!

Hey, Emery! Since you’ve been studying all summer, I’d focus on getting some rest so you’re at your best when you go to take the test tomorrow. Go to bed early and wake up refreshed. Have a good breakfast so you don’t get hungry during the test. Review some vocab if you think that would help. But remember to keep telling yourself that you’re absolutely going to KILL IT tomorrow. Yes, I would agree that being friend-zoned sucks a lot. I’m sorry that that happens to you. I wish I had an easy solution for you, honestly. It may be a matter of patiently waiting for the right person who doesn’t just think of you as a friend. But perhaps you need to go out on a limb a bit more, make deeper connections, possibly flirt a little. Regardless, your person will come. There’s plenty of time, and I have no doubt.

It’s okay not to have it figured out right now. It’s okay to go with the major that feels ~most~ right. You have plenty of time to figure out your life. People change majors. People change careers. A lot. People go back to school even. Life is anything but linear. So, don’t put too much pressure on yourself right now. What do you enjoy studying?? Can you major in whatever that is? What do you enjoy learning about for the sake of learning? You can worry about making a career out of it later!
