"are you sure you want to be out here?" cindy asked with caution in her throat. "it's so dangerous out here. i think we need to get somewhere safe. inside a building or something."

"shoot, are you kidding me this is the wrong address." this wasn't where they were trying to go. trying to find something to keep themself safe. "someone told me i was going to find a like a safety gear here. i was going to barricade my freaking apartment."

cindy hadn't known what to do when the killings had started. she just wanted to get out there and wanted to get somewhere safe. the first thought on her mind being to go to alex's unsure of what they could even do. but they didn't want to be alone. "i should've just gone home, i know. but i didn't... can i stay here for a few hours. until this dies down?"

cindy stopped by the library that afternoon, wanting to work on the homework assignments of their students before class the next day. "do you mind if i sit here?" she said quietly to the other as the library had been plenty full of people that day.

"ohh, where'd you find this place?" cindy asked as she walked into the new brunch spot, she'd been looking for more niche places to visit just for the experience around dc.

"i'm not sure it's really warm enough to be at the lake yet." though there were crowds of people at the beach already, cindy had a specific way of doing most things. they knew this, they were also pretty sure it was the exact reason wallace was bringing her here.

"i’ll be there when you arrive." cindy said into the phone as she walked out to her window. "are you here yet? i don't see your car."

"there are moments when i think i’m going crazy." it was entirely easy for cindy to become frustrated but she usually tried to hold it together. never let it show while she was teaching a class, but sometimes she just needed to let it out.
