Perhaps it hadn’t been the best idea to finish moving into the dorms last minute, that fact making itself known as Sungmin had to dodge around other students as he carried boxes through the hall, placing them all outside his room first before he started moving them inside. Next door, he’d noticed a girl doing the same thing as him, and he’d smiled politely at her when they’d met gazes but otherwise didn’t approach her, too shy and believing they were both too busy for that currently.
At last, when he thought he was finished, he flopped down on his bed for a while, exhausted from the physical exertion that he wasn’t quite accustomed to. He figured he might as well get to finishing the book he’d been reading while he took a break, so he went searching for the box that contained a small portion of his bookshelf from back home. Only, it was missing. Sungmin was absolutely sure that he’d brought it along in his aunt’s car, but then where could it be?
It took him a while, but thinking on it made him realize that his boxes could have easily gotten mixed up with his new neighbour’s while they were moving them around. He groaned and ran a hand through his hair before he got up and headed out, trying not to let himself get too worked up and nervous over such a simple thing. All he’d need to do is ask for the box back, it wasn’t hard. Still, it took him a few moments to build up the courage to knock on that door.
