Hi! I found a recipe for banana bread that I really want to try, but it calls for 1 tablespoon boxed egg replacer mixed with 1/2 cup water. I'm not crazy about using egg replacer, so I was wondering if you know of any alternatives? I've heard of a flax egg but i've never tried it/don't know if that's work for something like banana bread. Thanks!
Oh yeah you can for sure use flax. I actually have never bought the boxed egg replacer. You can pretty much skip the egg all together with banana bread because bananas are really good binders and used in vegan baking a lot. Can read more about alternative here and here.
