He heard a door swish open and closed, and he remembered why he felt so weak.

The clone.

He had lost.

He was thrown over the platform

How was he even alive? The clone burned into his cheek and up his eye...he blinded Keith. He took Allura’s advice and didn't try to open his right eye. He didn't need more pain.

As the Lions fall to Earth, Shiro realizes he's in love.

As Keith lies still and broken in a hospital bed, Shiro meets the White Lion, talks to Krolia, finds his way into Keith's mind, gives a speech, has a lot of feelings, and opens a wormhole. Not in that order.

It takes a small village to teach Shiro the importance of knowing your heart, having the hard conversations, and that telling someone you love them doesn't have to be hard.

Keith's injuries from the trials and the robeast attack have caused him to fall ill. Shiro's the one to find him and calm him down.

"...eith," a familiar voice spoke but he buried his face into his knees as he stifled a groan, "Come...get...bed...buddy..."

Keith couldn't stop the sigh that escaped as something cool braced against his forehead, nor could he stop himself from leaning against the comfortable whatever-it-was holding his forehead. Before he could comprehend, he felt something shift him and he was suddenly laying on his back. Letting out a tiny pant as his arm tingled from fingertips to shoulder blade, he blinked as his eyes tried to focus. All he saw at first was a blur of black, white, and peach before a face came into full view. It was Shiro and he looked extremely worried as his lips moved. Keith got deja vu at that since it had only been a day or so since they had been in this position. Words soon filtered into his ears.

Should you fail, then you will be executed for treason.” He was speaking before he even had time to think about it.“I’ll do it.”~With everyone still reeling from the reveal of Keith’s heritage, an impromptu trip to Cetra to gather materials is more than a welcome distraction.

But things never go as planned of course and Keith must prove his worth to the Cetra. Both for his team, and for Shiro.

July 2 - Training/Headache 

Bio: Keith spending some more time on the training deck once more trying to beat the level that he had been stuck on for awhile now. The simulator got the best of him though causing him to get a pretty good concussion, he decided not to tell anyone about it but to sleep it off in the room that he shares with Shiro. Shiro discovers that Keith has a concussion because of the sudden change in him and the other symptoms that started to show.

This was the closest I could find, anon! I also found a handful of fics where Keith was already sick, and therefore was sick during training, but this is the closest to Keith getting hurt in training with protective!Shiro. If anyone has any more, please let us know!
