@huntingbound picked that album to play while on a car ride with him. they were running errands, working jobs, bonding together, for the first time in a long time. since her unexpected return from the dead, there had been friction in their relationship, most of it coming from dean, who blamed her for depriving of the chance to get to know his daughter when she was first born — hanna had made the choice for him by keeping her a secret ... — until hanna died, and dean was left with questions which wouldn't be answered until much, much later. but they had overcome all of that, after a lot of conversations and a few drinks. because dean was given the chance to meet her again, to get to confront her for the first time, and to get to know her all over. and then, he woke up, tied to a wall, bleeding out slowly, within the confines of an abandoned building where the djinn resided. a lot of things he thought had happened didn't occur at all: one of them, hanna's resurrection. the memories were fading fast as he was catching up to his real current life with the real people that he still had. — and rumours was the only real thing he could keep in memory of her.

"Get in the car!" Sam reached across the passenger seat to push the door open, one hand still on the wheel as he anxiously waited to hit the gas again. "Oh my gods, get in the car!"
