who: @hunter-rockwell​​ when/where: near the tail end of the convocation dinner
Sav knew her parents would want to see Hunter and his family, her mother having brought up them going to prom together no less than a million times already. Every time Sav just ended up nodding along until she could subtly change the subject, not really wanting to have to point out that they hadn’t spoken since because he had caught her with his roommate and all. Not exactly a parent friendly conversation, especially when they adored Hunter as they did. Sav breathed a sigh of relief when they made it through dinner without actually running into the Rockwell’s. Of course, with her luck, that didn’t last.Â
As the Grey family was heading out, they stumbled upon Hunter with his mother. “Amelia!” Sav’s mother called out excitedly, Sav cringing when she looked up and saw her ex, who looked none to happy to see her as his mother pulled them over towards the Grey’s.Â
Sav’s father held out his hand to shake Hunter’s, greeting the boy with way too much familiarity and happiness, while Sav was torn between glaring at Hunter until he actually looked at her, or avoiding his eye contact all together. “You should’ve joined us for dinner,” Richard Grey said to the two Rockwell’s.
