first few push laps from the top teams are off the ferraris pace in the final sector quite significantly - potentially not pushing as hard as they can while the track is low grip

mclaren are trialling their version of a macarena rear wing - from the onboards, the slot gap looks more similar to the ferraris than the redbulls

ferrari have brought an upgraded rear wing this weekend that should hopefully increase their top speed

carlos was in verstappen's way, on the racing line - verstappen reacted strongly by braking harshly infront of carlos as they went into turn 12. verstappen reported that he 'had to slam on the brakes' - both are under investigation for driving erratically

soon after carlos reported that he had 'no radio' and that the 'cable was not connected' - probably why he didnt know verstappen was behind him on a quick lap

paul aron had a rear snap into turn 1 - bumped over the sausage kerb

charles was held up by lewis going into turn 12

alex locked up into turn 1 - many having an issue with that corner

lando abandoned his first push lap - ran too wide and dipped into the geavel

george had a huge lock up into turn 1, as the car decides to go into energy regeneration rather than continuing to let him hold the speed into the corner

red flag - stroll stopped on track after a "suspension failure" -as he was going into turn 2, the rear left suspension broke, sending him spinning

paul aron got in carlos' way on his first soft push lap - carlos reacted and got in his way, so is under investigation again for driving erratically, and was given a black and white flag

leo fornoroli locked up into turn 1 on his first push lap

carlos had a huge lock up into turn 1 - all four tyres locked and he came to a full stop in the run off - both his push laps ruined so he finished the session in last place

charles reported that "something broke" in turn 13 - made it back to the pits, but was just coasting from the pit entry to the weighbridge where he was recovered by the ferrari mechanics
