They say God doesn’t listen, that he turned a blind eye to the wrought destruction that mankind has created. Well Dr. Volkovsky is listening, he’s listening right now from a beach house down by the coast, alive and breathing. He’s heard the cries of a dead world and riddled with bullets and silver he has chosen to do nothing. He has tried, and he has failed. And what does he have to show for it? Complex argumentation, his internal organs replaced, mechanical circulation and many other shreds of his humanity taken leaving him with nothing but borrowed time.Â
Once he had a promising future, once he was a technological genius able to shape anything to his making. But that all changed when he saw the first signs of consciousness in his own creation, his A.I butler who is older than the technological giant himself, Albert was asked a question. Just one question. but the answer he was given changed Ishmael’s views towards synthetic beings. “Yes or no Albert, do you want me to dismantle and replace you?” it was no secret that Ishmael has grown fond of Albert. After all he was only a child when he found him collecting dust in his father’s basement, old and lifeless. Ishmael restored him on a whim. And since then Albert has been through everything with him. Through the death of his parents, through divorce of his wife, the estrangement of his son, the disease of his daughter and life just being horrible. Arguably, Albert has been the one constant thing in his life so to be asked “Sir, would you an improved model?” this quarry angered him. So he asked Albert if he would like to be destroyed and replaced. Albert’s response? A pause. Ishmael asked again. And Albert answered “No, Master Volkovsky.I enjoy working with you and patching you up when you break some part of yourself.” the answer shook him to his core because it represented thought, feelings and...memories. An A.I created pre-2000s should not be able to do this, but Albert could. That started it all. And it ended in the security complex of the corporation with a crushed leg and at the mercy of golden eyes and golden wings. A co-worker dead, his boss’s words ringing in his ears and his life flashing before his eyes. He was left with a parting view of Anael blowing his own brains out followed by Raguel and Ramiel turning against the military. He wasn’t sure if it was compassion, grief, mercy or just plain madness. Either way it provided him a window to escape. Since then he had hidden himself away. His family and friends thinks he’s dead and considering the shitstorm that went down he would like to keep it that way. He can’t risk another death on his conscience. He has gone astray, lost his purpose and it’ll take someone with the courage to push him out into the light.Â

Welcome to the files of Project Angelus:Â
Project Angelus, most commonly known as Project A, started way before the berserkers were officially created. They were the first (officially) AI elite soldiers. They were built as weapons of mass destruction, capable of ending conflicts without the intervention of a single human soldier.
The truth: they weren’t the first. Project cerberus, a series of three AIs came first but they were such a failure that any information about that project was erased.Â
Project Angelus meant to fix all the mistakes made with project Cerberus. A series of seven Ais that were meant to respect all international laws and that had been programmed to have a moral compass and be inherently kind.
Project A were meant to be perfect. All seven were extremely beautiful and represented different ethnicities. Their code was different so they wouldn’t be  hackable if one was captured. All them were meant to be different, they only thing they had in common were the golden wings and golden eyes.
Project A wasn’t as big of a failure as Project Cerberus but what the military didn’t know was that their mother, had coded them in order to allow them to learn and develop emotions like a humans being. It allowed them to grow and conscience and make choices. This didn’t turn out to be good.
Raphael was the first to turn on the military and had to be decomissioned.
Anael couldn’t handle the horrible acts they had committed in their first years of life and committed suicide.
Michael was killed in a mission while covering Sariel and Gabriel
Raguel was the second to turn on the military and had to be destroyed.
Ramiel was the third to turn on the military but he didn’t try to escape, he tried to kill Gabriel and Sariel after Michael was killed. He was destroyed.
Gabriel was reassigned to law enforcement (TAKEN)
Sariel was reassigned to law enforcement (OPEN. PB suggestion: Halsey, Kylie Bunbury, etc)
Except Gabriel and Sariel, the rest have been destroyed or decomissioned. Gabriel and Sariel were reassigned to law enforcement as they had been too expensive to build and new batches of improved berserkers had replaced them and made them useless. They were also considered to be too powerful and way too unstable. Both are gender neutral and consider each other brother and sister.
More details will be discussed with whoever is interested.

Okay so it’s been over five years since the last time I was on a more sci-fi related site, let alone A.I. based, and it definitely wasn’t as developed as this one is.
So I’m having a little trouble fleshing out some of Edith’s history and I would really appreciate having someone I can just bounce my ideas off of to make sure they make sense.Â
Sometimes you just really need to discuss your ideas with someone else to get them to make sense, ya feel?
